John Lemuel Higgs

John Lemuel was born on December 6th, 1895 in McLean Co, KY. John Lemuel's father was Moody C. Higgs and his mother was Nancy Jane Decker. His maternal grandparents were Valentine Decker and Louisa Cockriel. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Victor 'Val' T., James Monroe, John Melvin, Robert Emmitt, Emily 'Emma' J., Lucinda, Elizabeth, Lula and Golda Mae. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 35 in 1930.
