James Monroe Higgs

James Monroe was born on May 10th, 1883 in McLean Co, KY. James Monroe's father was Moody C. Higgs and his mother was Nancy Jane Decker. His maternal grandparents were Valentine Decker and Louisa Cockriel. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Victor 'Val' T., John Melvin, Robert Emmitt, John Lemuel, Emily 'Emma' J., Lucinda, Elizabeth, Lula and Golda Mae. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 84 on December 28th, 1967 in McLean Co, KY.
