Simon de Shirley

Simon was born in 1246 in Shirley, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England.¹ Simon's father was James de Shirley and his mother was Agnes de Walton. His paternal grandparents were Sewallis de Shirley and Isabell Meysnyll; his maternal grandparents were Simon de Walton and <Unknown>. He had three brothers named James, Ralph and Henry. He was the oldest of the four children.
