Ralph de Shirley

Ralph was born in 1260 in Shirley, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England.¹ Ralph's father was James de Shirley and his mother was Agnes de Walton. His paternal grandparents were Sewallis de Shirley and Isabell Meysnyll; his maternal grandparents were Simon de Walton and <Unknown>. He had three brothers named Simon, James and Henry. He was the third oldest of the four children.
