John ("Jack") William Downing 
John ("Jack") William was born in 1859.1 John ("Jack") William's father was Hiram Downing and his mother was Charlotte H. Bryson. His maternal grandparents were John Fielding Bryson and Ellizabeth Sparger. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Henry Franklin, Charles Washington, Hiram Edward, Margaret Emily, Esther A., Eliza and Susan Emeline. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 55 in 1914.1 -
