Esther A. Downing 
Esther A. was born in 1855.1 Esther A.'s father was Hiram Downing and her mother was Charlotte H. Bryson. Her maternal grandparents were John Fielding Bryson and Ellizabeth Sparger. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Henry Franklin, Charles Washington, Hiram Edward, John ("Jack") William, Margaret Emily, Eliza and Susan Emeline. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 9 in 1864.1 -
