Henry Franklin Downing 
Henry Franklin was born in 1847.1 Henry Franklin's father was Hiram Downing and his mother was Charlotte H. Bryson. His maternal grandparents were John Fielding Bryson and Ellizabeth Sparger. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles Washington, Hiram Edward, John ("Jack") William, Margaret Emily, Esther A., Eliza and Susan Emeline. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 21 in 1868.1 -
