Thomas Corbin was born in 1790 in Monticello,Virginia.1   Thomas Corbin's father was Thomas Jefferson and his mother was Sarah (Sally) Hemings.  His paternal grandparents were Col. Peter Jefferson and Jane Randolph; his maternal grandparents were John Wayles and Elizabeth (Betty) Hemings. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William Beverly, Madison, Eston, Harriet, Thenia and Harriet.  He was the oldest of the seven children. He had four half-sisters named Patsy, Jane Randolph, Maria and Lucy Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 89 in 1879 in Berlin Cross Roads,Jackson,OH.  He was buried in Cemetery Jackson County Roads,Ohio.1 1 



Thomas Corbin's family with Jemima Price Grant

‌Thomas Corbin and Jemima Price were married in a religious ceremony in 1806 in Greenbriar,West Virginia.  They had six sons and five daughters, named Lewis Fredrick, George, Thomas Corbin, John Penn, William, James, Harriet Delilah, Jemima, Frances, Hannah and Sarah Jane.
