Catherine (Kate) Patterson 
Catherine, known as Kate, was born in 1730 in Argyll,Scotland.1 Kate's father was Malcolm Patterson and her mother was Catherine Unknown. She had three brothers named Duncan, John and Malcolm. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 92 on June 8th, 1822 in Moore County,North Carolina. She was buried in Black Cemetery,Aberdeen,Moore County,NC.1 1 
Kate and Kenneth were married in a religious ceremony in 1757 in Jura,Argyll,Scotland.2 They had four sons and two daughters, named Archibald K., John, Hugh, Malcolm, Margaret and Effie.
