Ramon (Raymond), known as The Saint, was born in 1114 in Barcelona,Spain.  The Saint's father was Count of Barcelona Ramon (Raymond) (el Grande) Berenger III and his mother was Dulce Aldonza Milaud Gevaudan.  His paternal grandparents were Count of Barcelona, Gerona, Osona, Carcasonne, and Radez Ramon (Raymond) (Cabeza d'Estope (tow-head)) Berenger II and Matilda d'Hauteville; his maternal grandfather is Gerbert de Carlat. He had a sister named Berenguela. He had a half-sister named Chimene Diaz.  He died at the age of 48 on August 8th, 1162 in San Dalmacio,Torino,Italy.


The Saint's family with Queen of Aragon Petronilla Ramirez Aragon

‌The Saint and Petronilla Ramirez were married in a religious ceremony on August 11th, 1137 in Huesca,Aragon,Spain.  They had two sons and a daughter, named The Chaste, Ramon (Raymond) and Dulce.
