Abraham was born about 1726 in Northampton Co.,NC. Abraham's father was John Bass Jr. and his mother was Elizabeth Winborne. His paternal grandparents were John Bass Sr. and Love Harris; his maternal grandfather is William Winborne. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Issac, Jethro, Jacob, Job, Drury(Demsey?), Elizabeth, Alice and Undin (Eurodice). He had a half-brother named Thomas. He died in 1805 in Nash,North Carolina.-
