Thomas Wharton

Thomas was born in 1523 in Whaton Mateby, Westmorland, England.¹ Thomas' father was Thomas Wharton and his mother was Eleanor Stapleton. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Wharton and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Bryan Stapleton and Jane Thirkeld. He had a brother and four sisters, named Henry, Florence, Feorina, Joan and Anne. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Thomas. He died at the age of 49 on June 14th, 1572.¹
