Henry Wharton 
Henry was born in 1522 in Whaton Mateby, Westmorland, England.1 Henry's father was Thomas Wharton and his mother was Eleanor Stapleton. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Wharton and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Bryan Stapleton and Jane Thirkeld. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, Florence, Feorina, Joan and Anne. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Thomas. He died at the age of 30 in 1552.1 -
