James Shirley

James was born in 1708.¹   James' father was Thomas Shirley.  His paternal grandfather was Robert Shirley. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Richard, Thomas, John, John, Phebus, John, Joseph, Newman, Phebee, Mary, Ann, Grace, Argeland and Elizabeth.  He was the sixth youngest of the fifteen children.  James is no longer alive.
