John Shirley 
John was born in 1704.1 John's father was Thomas Shirley. His paternal grandfather was Robert Shirley. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Richard, Thomas, John, John, Phebus, James, Joseph, Newman, Phebee, Mary, Ann, Grace, Argeland and Elizabeth. He was the eighth oldest of the fifteen children. He died in Barren, KY, USA.1
