Roger was born on May 3rd, 1287 in Netherwood, Thornbury, Herefordshire, England.1   Roger's father was Edmund De Mortimer Lord of Wigmore and his mother was Margaret de Fiennes.  His paternal grandparents were Roger de Mortimer , Lord of Wigmore and Maud de Braose; his maternal grandparents were William de Fiennes Knight and Blanche de Brienne , Dame de Loupelande. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Hugh De, Walter De, Edmund II de, John De, Iswolde de, Maude, Matilda, Joan De, Margaret and Elizabeth.  He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.  He died  due to Executed (hanged) by order of King Edward III at the age of 43 on November 29th, 1330 in Elms, Tyburn, Warwickshire, England.  He was buried in 1330 in Church Of Grey Friar, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.1 1

‌Roger and Joan De were married in a religious ceremony before October 6th, 1306 in Of, , Shropshire, England.  They had five sons and ten daughters, named Edmund De, Edmund, Roger De, Geoffrey De, John De, Maud De, Margaret de, Margaret, Joan, Agnes De, Joane De, Blanche De, Blanche, Beatrice De and Katherine de.
