Piers de Geneville

Piers was born in 1256 in Dublin, Ireland and his baptism took place in 1292. Piers' father was Geoffrey de Geneville , Lord Geneville and his mother was Maud de Lacy. His paternal grandfather was Simon Seigneur de Joinville and his paternal grandmother is Beatrix de Bourgogne; his maternal grandparents were Gilbert De Lacy and Isabel Bigod. He had two brothers and a sister, named Simon De, Pierre (the younger) and Joan. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John De, Nicholas De, Henry De, Stephen De, Eleanor and Maud de. He died at the age of 36 in June 1292.
