Pieter Jansen (Slott) was born about 1639 in Holland.  Pieter Jansen (Slott)'s father was Jan Pietersen (Slot) Sloat Immigrant, Founder and his mother was Aeltie (Annetie?) Jans.  His paternal grandfather was Pieter (Slot) Sloat. He had a brother named Jan Jansen (Slot).  He was the older of the two children.  He died in 1688 in New York City, Ny.1

‌Pieter Jansen (Slott) and Marritje Jacobse were married in a religious ceremony on January 2nd, 1663 in New Amsterdam.2   They had three sons and three daughters, named Jan Pietersen (Slot), Jacobus (Slott), Jonas (Slot), Tryntie (Slot), Annetie (Slot) and Abeltie (Slot).
