Jan Pietersen (Slot) was born before 1615 in Holstein, Denmark/Germany.1 Jan Pietersen (Slot)'s father was Pieter (Slot) Sloat. He was an only child. He died in 1690 in New York City, Ny.1 
Jan Pietersen (Slot) and Aeltie (Annetie?) were married in a religious ceremony before 1639 in Amsterdam, Holland.1 They had two sons named Pieter Jansen (Slott) and Jan Jansen (Slot).
