William Hobson 
William was born on May 4th, 1797 in Guilford County, North Carolina.1 William's father was Isaac Hobson and his mother was Emey Marshill. His maternal grandparents were William Marshall and Rebecca Dixon. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Simon, Isaac, Jesse, Aaron, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rebecca and Emey. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 43 in 1840 in Marshall, Indiana. He was buried in West edge of Poplar Grove Cemetery, Marshall, Indiana.1 General Notes
