William Marshall 
William was born on August 5th, 1724 in Grange Mm, Charlemont, Armagh, Ireland and his baptism took place on August 6th, 1724 in Tyrone,,Ireland.1 William's father was Jacob (Marshill) Marshall and his mother was Ann Griffith. His paternal grandparents were Jacob (Marshill) Marshall and Margaret Edwards; his maternal grandfather was John Griffith and his maternal grandmother is Esther Musgrave. He had a brother named John. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 78 on May 28th, 1803 in Cane Creek, Chatham, North Carolina.1 General Notes
