Thomas Marshill 
Thomas was born on August 10th, 1751 in Augusta, Virginia.1 Thomas' father was William Marshall and his mother was Rebecca Dixon. His paternal grandparents were Jacob (Marshill) Marshall and Ann Griffith; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Dixon and Hannah Hadley. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named John, Jacob, William, Hannah, Deborah, Ruth, Rebecca, Anna, Emey and Dinah. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 69 on June 13th, 1821 in Cane Creek, Orange County, North Carolina. He was buried in Cane Creek, Orange, Nc.1 General Notes
