David Hobson 
David was born on April 11th, 1767 in ,Orange,Nc. David's father was Stephen Hobson and his mother was Ann Barnes. His paternal grandparents were Cpt George Hobson and Hannah Kinnison; his maternal grandparents were Brinsley Barnes and Elizabeth Lindley. He had four brothers and a sister, named Stephen, George, Silas, John and Ann. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Joseph. He died at the age of 86 on March 3rd, 1854 in ,Surry,Nc.General Notes
