George Given 
George was born in 1784. George's father was William Given and his mother was Nancy Agnes Bratton. His paternal grandfather was Major John Given and his paternal grandmother is Mary Margaret Sitlington; his maternal grandparents were Robert Bratton and Ann McFarland. He had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Robert, William, Samuel, Adam, James, John, Henry, Sarah "Sally" Hannah, Janet "Ginny", Mary, Isabella, Anne, Margaret "Peggy" and Agnes. He is the fifth youngest of the fifteen children.General Notes
