Thomas Giffard 
Thomas was born in 1490 in Burton, Rodenhurst, Wiltshire, England. Thomas' father was Sir John Giffard Knight and his mother was Jane Hoord. His paternal grandmother was Cassandra Humphrestone; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Hoord and Joyce Stapleton. He had two sisters named Cassandra and Dorothy. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 70 on May 27th, 1560.-
