John Stapleton 
John was born about 1400. John's father was Brian Stapleton Sheriff Norfolk and his mother was Cecilia Bardolf. His paternal grandfather was Miles Stapleton Sir and his paternal grandmother is Ela or Eva Ufford; his maternal grandfather was William Bardolf Baron Bardolf. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Miles, Brian, Anna and Anne. He is the second oldest of the five children.-
