Hugh Of Richard's Castle was born before 1100. Hugh Of Richard's Castle's father was Osborne (Fitzrichard) Scrope and his mother is Nest verch Gruffydd. His maternal grandparents were Gruffydd ap Llewelyn Prince of Deheubarth and Ealdgyth 'Swan-neck' Of England. He had two brothers and a sister, named Simon, Hugh and Nesta Verch. He was the youngest of the four children. He had seven half-brothers named Owain ap, Llywarch ap, Meurig ap, Griffri ap, Ednomain ap, Ieuan ap and Madog ap. He died after 1140.-
