Baldwin Fitz-Gilbert of was born in 1039 in Exeter, Devonshire, England.  Baldwin Fitz-Gilbert of's father was Gilbert  Crispin Earl De Briony and his mother was Harlette De Falaise Countess of Mortaigne.  His paternal grandparents were Duke , Count of Brienne Godfrey and of Normandy Hawise; his maternal grandparents were Fulbert 'The Tanner' De Falaise and Doda De Falaise. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Richard  Fitz Gilbert, Osbern, Emma and Anna. He had eighteen half-brothers and fourteen half-sisters, named Richard De Tonbridge De Clare, Baldwin FitzGilbert, Gilbert, Baldwin Fitz, Gilbert Lord, Ralph Count of, "The Conqueror" King of England, Andre, Seigneur de Vitre, Eudes \ Odo Bishop Of, Odo Bishop of, Odo de, Robert Count, Odo, Robert Count De, Robert, Count de Mortaigne, Count Robert, Robert de Mortaigne Earl of, Eudes de, Elsie Hesilia, Adelaide Countess of, Maude de, Emma, Oda (Eudes), Muriel de, Emma de, Isabella de, <Unnamed>, Mathilde de, Mathilde, Muriel, Muriel and Miss de.  He died at the age of 51 in 1090.
