Amy was born on April 5th, 1786 in , , Of Kingsbury. Amy's father was Daniel Pierce and her mother was Mary Hix or Hicks. Her paternal grandparents were Mial Pierce Capt. and Patience Martin; her maternal grandparents are Isaac Hix or Hicks and Mary Luther. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Isaac, St.Lawrence, Huldah, Truman Kingsbiry, Clarissa, Daniel, Aurora, Charlotte Jedediah, (Dyer), A., A. and Canaan. She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 82 on December 19th, 1868.-
