Isabella was born about 1189 in Angouleme, Aquitaine, , France.  Isabella's father was Aymer De Valence Count and her mother was Alice De Courtenay.  Her paternal grandfather was William IV Taillefer Of Angouleme Count and her paternal grandmother is Margaret (Marguerite) De Turenne; her maternal grandfather was Piere I Of France Prince and her maternal grandmother is Elizabeth De Courtenay Heiress.  She was an only child.  She died on May 31st, 1246.  She was buried in 1246 in Fontevrault, , Maine Et Loire, France.
