Anne was born about 1023 in , , Kiev, Ukrain.  Anne's father was Jaroslav I (Yaroslaw) Of Kiev Grand Prince and her mother was Ingegard Of Sweden Princess.  Her paternal grandparents were St Wladimir I Of Kiev Grand Prince and Rogneda Of Polotsk; her maternal grandfather was Olaf III Of Sweden King and her maternal grandmother is Astrid Of The Obotrites. She had five brothers and a sister, named Vladimir Yaroslav, Isjarlaw I (Isislaw), Syvatopolk I (II), Wsewolod I (Wsevelod), Igor and Anastacia Agmunda.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.  She died in 1075.  She was buried in 1075.

‌Anne and Henry I were married in a religious ceremony on January 29th, 1044.  They had two sons named Philip I and Hugh Of Vermandois.
