Thomas Carroll Hawley 
Thomas Carroll was born on October 16th, 1798 in , Fauquier, Va.1 Thomas Carroll's father was Francis Marion HAWLEY and his mother was Sarah HUDSON. His maternal grandparents are George Hudson and Sarah Elizabeth Jennings. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named James, Francis Hedgeman, William Eluza, William Lloyd, Linford Rodney, Sanford Rodney, William Augustus, John Burbin, Addison, Anney, Millinda, Matilda, Pensicola and Pensicola. He was the fifth youngest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 69 on April 18th, 1868 in Chattanooga, Hamilton, Tn. He was buried in April 1868 in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, Tn.2 General Notes
