Matilda Hawley 
Matilda was born on April 27th, 1801 in , Fauquier, Va.1 Matilda's father was Francis Marion HAWLEY and her mother was Sarah HUDSON. Her maternal grandparents are George Hudson and Sarah Elizabeth Jennings. She had ten brothers and four sisters, named James, Francis Hedgeman, William Eluza, William Lloyd, Linford Rodney, Sanford Rodney, William Augustus, John Burbin, Thomas Carroll, Addison, Anney, Millinda, Pensicola and Pensicola. She was the fourth youngest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 78 on June 25th, 1879 in Red Bank, Hamilton, Tn.2 General Notes
