William W. Greer 
William W. was born on February 25th, 1853 in LONGWOOD, MO, PETTIS CO. William W.'s father was Davis Greer and his mother was Orpha SWOPE. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Greer and Mary Frances Divers. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named James Monroe, Jefferson D., Jesse Benjamin, John H., George Hiram, Joseph Wright, Earnest, Mary Francis, Sarah ELIZEBETH, Susan and Ellen Louise. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 87 on August 7th, 1940 in Nevada, MO, Vernon. He was buried in BETHLEHEM CEM, , PETTIS CO, MO.-
