Silas Peter Greer 
Silas Peter was born on January 3rd, 1852 in JOHNSON CO, MO. Silas Peter's father was James Greer and his mother was Martha Dudley Smith. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Greer and Mary Frances Divers. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John Henry, James Thomas, ERLANDER, Jessie R., Annie LEORA and Emily. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William E. and ELIZEBETH FRANCINA. He died at the age of 72 on March 20th, 1924.-
