James Greer 
James was born on February 6th, 1814 in FRANKLIN CO, VA. James' father was Benjamin Greer and his mother was Mary Frances Divers. His paternal grandparents were James GREER and Elizabeth Greer. He had four brothers and three sisters, named BERRYMAN, Henry, Davis, John Wesley, Sally, ELIZEBETH and Mary Catherine. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 82 on June 14th, 1896 in Johnson, MO, NR WARRENSBURG. He was buried in GREER CEM.-
