Lucy was born in 1367 in Knockin, Shropshire, England.  Lucy's father was Roger II le Strange and her mother was Eleanor (Aline) FitzAlan.  Her paternal grandparents were Roger le Strange and UNKNOWN Maud; her maternal grandparents were Edmund Fitzalan of Arundel and Alice de Warenne. She had five brothers and a sister, named John IX, Roger, Edmund, Edward, Eubulo and Alianor.  She died after 1405.  She was buried in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, England.


Lucy's family with William d'Aresby de Willoughby

‌Lucy and William d'Aresby were married in a religious ceremony before April 23rd, 1383.  They had a son and two daughters, named Thomas Willoughby of, Elizabeth and Margery.
