John was born in 1328 in Raby, Durham, England.  John's father was Ralph de Neville and his mother was Alice de Audley.  His paternal grandparents were Randolf de Neville and Euphemia FitzRoger de Clavering; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Senior de Audley de Alditheley and Isolt de Mortimer. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Alexander, Thomas, Isabel and Margaret. He had a half-brother named William.  He died at the age of 60 on October 17th, 1388 in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.


John's first family with Maud de Percy

‌John and Maud were married in a religious ceremony in 1364.  They had three sons and a daughter, named Ralph, John, Thomas and Alianore.


John's second family with Elizabeth le Latimer

‌John and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on October 9th, 1381 in England.  They had a son and two daughters, named John, Elizabeth and Margaret.
