Alianore was born about 1305 in Chartley Castle, Staffordshire, England. Alianore's father was John de Ferrers and her mother was Hawyse de Muscegros. Her paternal grandparents were Robert de Ferrers and Alianore de Bohun; her maternal grandparents were Robert II de Muscegros and Agnes de Ferrers. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, Robert and Perronelle. She is the second oldest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Catherine.General Notes
