John de Burgh

John was born about 1290. John's father was Richard the Red Earl de Burgh and his mother was Hawise de Burgh. His paternal grandparents were Walter de Burgh and Aveline FitzJohn; his maternal grandparents were John de Burgh and Cecily de Baliol. He had a brother and six sisters, named Edmund, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Aveline, Katherine, Matilda and Joan. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died on June 18th, 1313 in Galway.
