Joan de Braose 
Joan was born about 1275 in Gower, Glamorganshire, Wales. Joan's father was William VII de Braose and her mother is Aliva (Aline) de Multon. Her paternal grandparents were William VI de Braose and Isabel de Clare; her maternal grandparents were Thomas III de Multon and Maud de Vaux. She had a brother and a sister, named William VIII and Aline. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Peter, Richard, William, Giles and Margaret. Joan is no longer alive.General Notes
