Joan FitzAlan's father was John Fitzalan of Arundel and her mother was Alianor de Maltravers. Her paternal grandparents were Richard II Copped Hat FitzAlan of Arundel and Eleanor Plantagenet of Lancaster; her maternal grandparents were John de Maltravers and UNKNOWN Gwenllian. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John Fitzalan, Richard FitzAlan of, Eleanor and Margaret FitzAlan. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Reynold, Thomas, Anne, Eleanor, Elizabeth and Margaret. She died on September 1st, 1404.-
