Edmund Crouchback was born in London, England.  Edmund Crouchback's father was Henry III Plantagenet of England and his mother was Eleanor Berenger of Provence.  His paternal grandparents were John I Plantagenet Lackland of England and Isabella de Taillefer of Angouleme; his maternal grandparents were Raymond VI Berenger of Provence and Beatrice de Savoie. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Edward I Longshanks Plantagenet of, Richard, John, Henry, William of, Margaret, Beatrice and Catherine.  He died on June 5th, 1296 in Bayonne.

‌Edmund Crouchback and Blanche Capet were married in a religious ceremony before October 29th, 1275 in Paris.  They had three sons and a daughter, named Thomas Plantagenet of, John Plantagenet of, Henry Plantagenet of and Mary.
