Eleanor Plantagenet of was born on June 18th, 1318 in Woodstock Palace, Oxfordshire, England.  Eleanor Plantagenet of's father was Edward II Caernarvon of England and her mother was Isabelle of France.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward I Longshanks Plantagenet of England and Eleanor of Castile & Leon; her maternal grandparents were Philip IV el Hermoso the Fair Capet of France and Joan (Jeanne) of Navarre. She had three brothers and a sister, named Adam, Edward III Plantagenet of, John Plantagenet of and Joanna Plantagenet Makepeace of the.  She was the second youngest of the five children.  She died at the age of 36 on April 22nd, 1355 in Deventer Abbey, Gueldres.  She was buried in 1355 in Deventer Abbey, Gueldres.
