Francis Shaffer 
Francis was born on May 22nd, 1838. Francis' father was Peter Shaffer and her mother was Mary George. Her paternal grandparents were Christopher Shaffer and UNKNOWN Elizabeth; her maternal grandparents were Thomas George and Catherine McCoy. She had four brothers and five sisters, named George W., Joseph Allen, William, Thomas, Elisabeth, Mary, Rebecca, Sarah and Lucy. She was the third youngest of the ten children.
