Charles Caleb was born on September 1st, 1836 in Braxton County, Virginia. Charles Caleb's father was Francis Riffle and his mother was Elizabeth Conrad. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Riffle and UNKNOWN Dorothy; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Conrad and Barbara Hedrick. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jefferson Conrad, Benjamin, Barbary, Peyton, Lucinda and Barbara. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry, Jacob, John L., Solomon, Mary Ann and Lucinda. He died after 1865.-
