Jacob Conrad 
Jacob was born in August 1705 in Canton, Berne, Switzerland. Jacob's father was Jacob Curet and his mother was Susanna Leysi. His paternal grandparents were Barthome Churet and Barbara Ryff. He had three brothers named Johan Stephen, Bartholme and Johan Peter. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 70 on December 1st, 1775 in Ruddle, Pendleton County, Virginia. He was buried in Old Conrad Cemetery, Pendleton County, West Virginia.General Notes
