Joan Plantagenet of was born about 1310 in Norfolk, England.  Joan Plantagenet of's father was Henry Plantagenet of Lancaster and her mother was Maud de Chaworth.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Crouchback Plantagenet and Blanche Capet de Artois; her maternal grandparents were Patrick II de Chaworth and Isabella de Beauchamp. She had a brother and six sisters, named Henry Grosment Plantagenet of, Blanche Plantagenet of, Maud Plantagenet of, Eleanor Plantagenet of, Isabel Plantagenet of, Alice Plantagenet of and Mary Plantagenet of.  She died on July 7th, 1349 in England.  She was buried in 1349 in Byland Abbey, Yorkshire, England.

‌Joan Plantagenet of and John II were married in a religious ceremony.  They had a son and two daughters, named John III, Eleanor and Blanche.
