Johan Henrich Knappenberger 
Johan Henrich was born on September 10th, 1744 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Johan Henrich's father was Johan Michael Knappenberger and his mother was Catherina Heilig. His paternal grandparents were Johan Albrecht Knappenberger and Anna Katherina; his maternal grandparents were Johann George Heilig and Anna Margaretha. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Johan George, Conrad, Susanna Margaretha, Maria Anna Barbara and Catharina Margaretha. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Johan George Sebastian, Maria Dorothea and Maria Luise. He died at the age of 73 on August 14th, 1818 in Macungie Township,Northampton (later Lehigh County),Pennsylvania. He was buried in 1818 in Zion Lutheran, Lower Macungie, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania-Reverend Steckel presided at the funeral.General Notes

The following beggining of his will is quoted from the book, The
Knappenberger History 1990 by Dorothy Worman:
"I, Henry Knappenberger, of Macungie Township, Lehigh County, and State
of Pennsylvania, am overcome by bodily weakness, yet of good mind and
thought....."
The Will made provision for wife, Anna Margaret and divided estate
between his seven surviving children (four sons and three daughters).
Executors were his son Henry Jr. and son-in-law Henry Ritter.
