Doris Louise was born on December 3rd, 1915 in Litchville, North Dakota. Doris Louise's father was Rawlin Amasa Kinzer and her mother was Bertha Louise Prentice. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Kinzer and Emma Crosiar. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Arthur, Cedric Rawlin, Bruce Prentice, Roy Edward, Robert Bruce, Russell Howard, Dorothy Emma, Pearl Elizabeth, Jesse May and Emma Zoulieka. She is the sixth oldest of the eleven children.-
